La coordinación de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM, es el Punto Nacional de Contato (NCP's por sus siglas en inglés). La red de NPC's cuenta con la plataforma de enlace (redes y vinculación) denominada NET4SOCIETY en adelante, N4S, que es financiada por la Comisión Europea como parte del Séptimo Programa MArco de investigación y desarrollo tecnológico, 7PM (FP7 por sus siglas en inglés).

Experience with the first calls in FP7 shows that the administrative and legal aspects related to the participation of organisations from third countries are often a particular challenge for consortia, and can lead to significant delays in grant negotiations. The Commission has therefore prepared a quick guide that focuses on the cooperation with third country participants in the 7th Framework Programme. The guide was prepared to assist you and the future consortia in submitting proposals and to speed up the negotiation process.

This event will look at how the current philosophy of science can be brought into line with the need to understand, analyse and contribute to scientific endeavours. So far, philosophical attention has mainly been directed towards the justifiying of theoretical claims in order to establish stable, unambiguous results. At the same time, justificationary demands on contextual and specialised uses of theoretical insights have been largely neglected. The task of the event is to discuss a re-orientation of current philosophy of science.
